Build respect, responsibility & engagement

DO YOU EVER WISH TEACHING WASN'T SUCH A BATTLE?

Well, maybe it doesn't have to be. Let's get you & your students on the same team, working together to help them reach their full potential!

ARE YOU TIRED OF THE CONSTANT STRUGGLE?

Even if you’ve got the basics of classroom management down, trying to get our students to be responsible, work hard, focus, and respect each other (and you) can often feel like fighting a losing battle.

Disrespect, apathy, blank stares - it's certainly not what we anticipated when we got into teaching.

No, we dreamed about leading passionate discussions with students who were excited about learning.

We imagined ourselves building meaningful relationships that enabled us to make a real difference in our students' lives and create a classroom culture of respect, trust, and responsibility.

But maybe you're wondering if this was all a pipe dream. Is it even possible? Or are today's kids simply too hard to deal with?

Don't give up, my friend. It's not impossible. But maybe we need to change our approach.

IMAGINE RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, ENGAGED STUDENTS!

What if we could overcome our students' apparent lack of motivation by implementing simple strategies that truly engaged students, inspired them to work hard, and developed their personal responsibility,

What if we really could inspire mutual respect and responsibility by teaching our students the valuable social skills and character qualities they may be lacking?

What if we didn't have to let our students’ antics drive us to frustration but instead wielded an irresistible blend of compassion and strength that garnered our students’ respect and inspired them to rise to a higher standard.

What if you could help your students catch a glimpse of their own potential, so that, rather than constantly butting heads, you & your students actually worked together to accomplish great things?

Did you say that'd be AMAZING?

Well, you’re in the right place.

Over 3,110 teachers LOVE OUR COURSES.
Here's what a few of them had to say:

Your course was just what I needed. The modules on difficult students were the most helpful as the demographics of the new school where I teach are very different from my old school. The information on managing transitions and releasing responsibilities were also among my favorites. I am sure I will listen to them again!

I would encourage any teacher who loves his or her job but struggles with frustration about student misbehavior and time management to take this course. Also, for teachers who want to truly make an impact on the lives of individual students and their parents, this provides so much valuable insight into how you can learn to make that impact. Even experienced teachers like myself can learn new things and be reminded of why we went into teaching in the first place.

Taking this course really gave me the confidence to put changes in place that have benefited me and my students from Day One. I had struggled with my classroom management my first two years of teaching.  I cried about once a week last year and was ready to walk out. My students took advantage of my lack of confidence and consistently acted out in numerous ways.

Now, I have so much more confidence in myself and in my classroom management. We are practicing, correcting, and staying consistent with consequences and procedures. I have my students wrapped around my finger and I love teaching again!

I highly recommend your seminar to any teacher new or veteran. It's great practical real-life advice that teachers don't learn in college. There's no substitute for experience, and you've used your experience in the classroom to help and remind teachers of what's really important; student learning, building relationships, and saving your sanity. I'm going to share your seminar with my administrators. This was more useful than any pre-service training I've had in years!

Before this course my classroom management was average. Just as when I felt like I am getting a handle on things, a new issue would come up and I had to address it with some degree of uncertainty.

Now I'm feeling much better and I do not have the great stress I felt in the years past.

The advice Linda gives is very practical and doable. The class also allows for freedom to flex with the principles of consistency, kindness and firmness running through the very vein of a great classroom.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

This course is best for you if...

  • > You are a K-12 teacher in a public, private, or charter school
  • > You  want to go beyond just keeping control and inspire your students to reach their full potential
  • > You  already have the basics of classroom management down and are looking to take your skills to the next level.*

*This doesn't mean your classroom needs to be perfect (whose is!?), but this does assume you already have a basic understanding of the classroom management skills needed to keep order and control. That way we can go beyond mere classroom management and dive into classroom leadership - truly inspiring your students and creating that culture of respect, responsibility, and engagement.

If you are struggling to keep order, we recommend starting with Classroom Management 101, which will be exactly what you need to regain control and build a strong foundation for an effective classroom. Don't worry. We'll still be here when you're ready.

If you've been following Teach 4 the Heart for long, you may have noticed that this community is designed for Christian teachers. However, the course is designed to benefit Christian and non-Christian teachers alike, who teach in both private or public schools.  So what we did is include special bonus lessons that look at certain topics from a Biblical perspective. If you're not a believer, you can feel free to skip these.

WILL IT REALLY HELP ME CREATE A RESPECTFUL CLASS?

Beyond Classroom Management will definitely equip you with a plethora of strategies to build respect, responsibility & engagement in your classroom. You will learn how to build stronger relationships, create a respectful learning culture, better engage your students, build social and cooperative skills and much more! Of course, you actually have to follow through and implement what you've learned, but I'm sure you'll be able to do that.

HOW LONG IS THE COURSE AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

The course contains over seven hours of video, and I promise that not a minute is wasted time. Each module contains about eight to ten lessons, and each video lesson is typically 5-10 minutes long. You can watch these videos online anywhere that you have an internet connection. Also included are downloads and links to additional resources, as well as printable manual with notes already taken for you. When you enroll, you will have as long as you'd like to complete the course, so there's no pressure to watch it all right away.

Beyond Classroom Management is here to give you a solid plan to build a respectful learning culture where students are excited to learn. It's here to help you build an amazing classroom and make a lasting difference in your students' hearts and lives.

WILL THE COURSE BE WORTH THE MONEY?

If you dream of teaching students who are actually engaged, respectful, and excited to learn then, yes, absolutely! Think of how frustrating & overwhelming it is try to force your students to learn. In Beyond Classroom Management, you'll learn strategies to engage your students, create a respectful learning environment, and get everyone working together on the same team. As a result, your students will excel and you'll actually look forward to teaching. And that is well worth the price of enrollment!

CAN I COUNT THIS TOWARDS CONTINUING EDUCATION?

When you finish the course you'll be able to download a certificate of completion stating that you completed the 7+ hour course. You can then submit this certificate to your administrator for approval for professional development or continuing education credits.

*ACSI teachers/schools: This course has been approved by ACSI for 1.2 CEU's. Contact us upon completion of the course for official ACSI paperwork/credit submission.

*AACS teachers/schools: You can receive PD credit for this course by filling out the AACS PD form requesting approval to receive credit for this course. (AACS teachers have successfully received PD credit for our courses in the past.)

WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE IT?

I don't want you to have to worry about whether or not this is worth the money, so let me give you a guarantee. I'm confident you'll love the course, but if for any reason you're not completely satisfied, let us know within 30 days and we'll refund the entire purchase price. No questions asked.

Linda Kardamis

meet your instructor

I'm Linda Kardamis. My early days as a middle school math teacher resembled a roller coaster of highs and lows, successes and utter failures.

Thankfully, through sound advice, a bit of trial and error, and much prayer, I gradually learned how to keep my students attention, and I started to believe I could actually do this.

But even after I got to the point where my class was (for the most part) controlled & on-task, I still sometimes felt like I was fighting with them - trying to force them to learn against their will.

Thankfully, teaching is a journey of continued growth, of seeking out even better ways to engage our students and impact their lives. What a joy to witness those ah-ha moments! And what a thrill when we see our students grow in character!

The strategies I share in Beyond Classroom Management hold the power to transform your classroom into a place where respect, responsibility & engagement are the norm and your students are growing  excited to learn. You’re in the right place. Let’s dive in.

The course was amazing.  I think my favorite tip was the continual reminder that I don't have to change everything and implement all of the great ideas tomorrow.

As for ideas I'll implement, I had 2 favorites: flipping my classroom and morning meetings.

It is well worth the money.

Your procedures and organization ideas are great! I really like the idea that if you teach them these things at the beginning of the year then the whole year will be smoother.

This is a great course with great ideas. and it is broken up into small segments so it is easy to fit into your day!

I loved Beyond Classroom Management. If you're considering it, go for it! The course is very practical and most of all encouraging. The resources included are valuable as well, and I am going to come back and rewatch some of the videos throughout the year when I need a refresher.

Your course was just what I needed. The modules on difficult students were the most helpful as the demographics of the new school where I teach are very different from my old school. The information on managing transitions and releasing responsibilities were also among my favorites. I am sure I will listen to them again!

I had a very challenging class this past year. I never felt fully in control and all students were affected. I became very discouraged and questioned if I was doing the right thing being a teacher.

Now, I feel like I have very definite plans and strategies to turn to.

I completed the course yesterday and I am just so thankful to God for you and your ministry through teach4theheart.com... I am seeing the fruit of following your suggestions on procedures and rules and high expectations.... This is my 12th year of teaching but still have found your course instructive, refreshing and encouraging. And from a Christian point of view!

Beyond Classroom Management and Classroom Management 101 have helped me come up with some great plans and ideas.

Taking this course really gave me the confidence to put changes in place that have benefited me and my students from Day One. And I can honestly say that confidence has carried over into my daily classroom management, and my students have responded. The respect level is definitely higher than in past year.
