Sharing Our Blessings

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow,
Praise Him all creatures here below.
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host.
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost!

This song rings in my mind as I contemplate God's incredible goodness over this past year. Through good times and bad, gladness and pain, He is always good.

Today in this special post, I'm joining an incredible group of teacher bloggers to not only share our blessings but also give away some awesome stuff. 😀  Stick around at the end of this post for two free products, a chance to win a $25 TpT gift card, and links to other free products.

But first, I want to thank God in particular for three great blessings of this past year.

1. Our family is growing again. We're expecting our 4th child in early April, and while we're sure things are going to be a bit crazy, we're so thankful for this blessing.

2. I was able to run a marathon this fall. I've wanted to run a marathon for a long time, and I was able to accomplish that goal this fall. It was way harder than I thought it'd be, but I felt so blessed to be able to do it.

3. I got to teach again.
Another unexpected blessing was the chance to get back into the classroom. It was so much fun to teach again for a bit, as I subbed for seven weeks for a geometry teacher who'd just had surgery.

4.  God continues to teach us many things. Throughout the year God has continued to grow us - many times through  teaching and preaching of Parkside Church. We are so thankful to God for directing us there. (And if you're looking for messages to strengthen and encourage your spiritual life, I highly recommend listening to our Pastor Alistair Begg at truthforlife.org or the Truth for Life app or podcast.)
