Sharing Our Blessings

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”

       - Psalm 91:1-2

One thing this year has brought home to me is that sorrows abound. A strange way to start a Thanksgiving post, I know. But it's our reality. This world is broken, and that brings death, pain, loss, anxiety, fear, and so many other struggles - many of which we've experienced in extra measure this year.

But praise God, this is not the end of the story. This is just the messy middle. And not only is God with us in the messy middle, but He's also promised to one day make all things new - righting all the wrongs, drying all the tears, and finally fulfilling Donne's famous line "death, thou shalt die."

What a glorious day that will be.

In the meantime, we look forward with hope and thanksgiving. Hope in who God is, hope in what He has done for us in Jesus, hope in the work He is doing in us each day, and hope in what He will one day do. ❤️

If this hope sounds foreign and strange to you, find out more about the hope He offers here.

It's a hope truly worth being thankful for.

I believe that when God calls us to teach, He promises the strength & wisdom to do it well. All we need to do is keep learning, growing, and depending on Him. I'm here to provide practical advice and Biblical encouragement so you'll have the confidence and perspective to not only inspire your students but reach their hearts as well.
