"This minicourse was fantastic. I really like the idea of getting my students' attention first. I know I have struggled multiple times with getting them to settle down and I am excited to have info to help me succeed with my classroom management."

"More than the many new ideas and ways to manage and change the classroom, I loved how each idea was introduced in a positive and uplifting manner. I love receiving ideas from someone who has put their ideas into practice and sharing those ideas and opportunities with others who just need some encouragement."

"I did a shake it up! Morning and end of the day packing up were crazy. My least favorite part of the day! So, I did it! We are on day 5 and the kids are responding to the new routine. I also modified my behavior strategy giving a warning first and then consequences. The non-consequence warning is definitely getting their attention. Thank you for your insight."

"I have been teaching 20+ years and feel like I know every trick there is, but your mini-course was EXACTLY what I needed. I have a darling but very energetic and academically challenging group (highs and lows and not a lot of in-betweens).... Anyway, thank you! The post it notes on the desk since returning yesterday have been remarkable in getting their attention without interrupting class learning. I'm looking forward to learning new strategies and regaining some family time!"

"Very helpful and insightful course. I will use planning, my demeanor, and the emotional bank account as stepping stones into a different behavior plan."

I want to thank you for your classroom management mini course. I know that it was no accident that I found your site and read your very honest reflections. It was as if they were my words that I was reading--written by someone else, though. I implemented the class-yes and a plan that was based on everything you explained in the videos. I cannot explain adequately how much it is transforming my classes. This is huge! Thank you so much!!!!

The course gives good direction in classroom management in plain language. Highlights for me were the Day 2 lessons about consistency (it's ok to keep going if you slip up) and the importance of managing the little things.

About Your Instructor

I'm Linda Kardamis. I always wanted to be teacher, but a few months in, I realized teaching was a whole lot harder than I thought it would be. Too many of my students just weren’t listening to me; many were outright belligerent. My confidence plummeted, and as much as I hated to admit it, I wasn’t enjoying teaching. Instead, I felt like a failure in my own classroom.

But God wasn’t done with me. Through sound advice, a bit of trial and error, and much prayer, I gradually learned to keep my students’ attention, and I started to believe I could actually do this.

As I stopped living in fear of the next problem, I began to look forward to teaching. And what a joy when I finally got to the point where my students were (for the most part) orderly, on-task, and fun to teach!

You can see the same turnaround - and I'll share exactly how to do it in the live training!
