3 DAYS TO REGAIN CONTROL

More than the many new ideas and ways to manage and change the classroom, I loved how each idea was introduced in a positive and uplifting manner. I love receiving ideas from someone who has put their ideas into practice and sharing those ideas and opportunities with others who just need some encouragement.

This minicourse was fantastic. I really like the idea of getting my students’ attention first. I know I have struggled multiple times with getting them to settle down and I am excited to have info to help me succeed with my classroom management.

The course gives good direction in classroom management in plain language. Highlights for me were the Day 2 lessons about consistency (it’s ok to keep going if you slip up) and the importance of managing the little things.

I did a shake it up! Morning and end of the day packing up were crazy. My least favorite part of the day! So, I did it! We are on day 5 and the kids are responding to the new routine. I also modified my behavior strategy giving a warning first and then consequences. The non-consequence warning is definitely getting their attention. Thank you for your insight.

I have been teaching 20+ years and feel like I know every trick there is, but your mini-course was EXACTLY what I needed. I have a darling but very energetic and academically challenging group (highs and lows and not a lot of in-betweens)…. Anyway, thank you! This minicourse taught me how to make a change for the better with classroom management and expectations. You should definitely try it out. It works even if you’re mid year.

This is a great resource and it can really change the behavior in your classroom. I enjoyed hearing real-life examples for each strategy and what to do when it goes wrong.
