Consider these Scriptures...
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. - Romans 15:13
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. - Matthew 11:28
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Phil. 4:7
Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. - Isaiah 41:10
A 6-week program to help Christian teachers renew their passion for teaching and find the peace, joy, and rest that God has promised them.
When you join Teach Uplifted, you will...
You'll learn simple ways to renew your energy and stay inspired even in the mid-year doldrums.
You'll discover how to truly trust God in difficult circumstances - and the great peace that comes from allowing Him to carry your burdens instead of trying to figure out everything yourself.
You'll connect with fellow Christian teachers in a community that exists to encourage & uplift one another.
When you're teaching uplifted, full of God's joy, peace, and rest, you will be more effective than ever and a shining light not only to your students but to your colleagues as well.
When we're surrounded by negativity, dealing with poor administration, or facing our own fears and shortcomings, the solution isn't a magical change of our circumstances. Neither is it trying harder to overcome our own struggles.
The answer is found in Christ. In trusting Him completely, in surrendering not just our lives but our everyday moments to Him.
Join us to discover the very real peace, joy, and rest that you can find in Christ, even in the most difficult and challenging circumstances.

I don't want anyone to worry about investing in this program. If for any reason you're unhappy with the results you get from Teach Uplifted, just let me know within 30 days and I'll issue you a full refund.
Before Teach Uplifted, I saw teaching as inevitably stressful and time-consuming. It wasn't something I got joy from but something I was burdened by and felt stuck in.
My biggest takeaway was to cast your burdens on God and leave them there. Refuse to pick them up again, to dwell on them, to give into doubt and worry. These are all choices. No excuses. I can choose to obsessively work as if everything depended on me. Or I can also choose to give Him the stress whenever I'm tempted to give in to the worry.
God really used this course to do a complete restructuring of my soul. I have a 20-year habit of working too much and giving too much of myself to my responsibilities. It's so easy for me to stress out. So easy to worry. I know God is the only One who can humble me and teach me how to let Him take my responsibilities and to work with an attitude of trusting Him completely and refusing to worry.
Before Teach Uplifted, I was feeling overwhelmed and anxious.
I've learned I need to trust and surrender each and every moment of each and everyday to my Lord, my Savior. He is the one ultimately in control of my life and my classroom. I can do nothing without Him.
Through Teach Uplifted, I've found some peace and I am challenged to really rely on God more in my classroom. I was also encouraged by several members in my Voxer group. I also feel a bond to them, especially those who experience some of the same stresses and anxieties that I do as a teacher.
I can not tell you how much I have enjoyed this "class" so far. God has definitely used it to teach me and to help me draw closer to Him. Thanks!
Before joining Teach Uplifted, I felt called by God to teach but struggled with learning to trust the Holy Spirit to lead me at school
I am enjoying the process for taking thoughts captive. I am also enjoying learning to see things with my eyes open to God's working and plans (chariots).
I am still in the middle of the study, so change may not be noticeable to others, but I am feeling less anxious. I am able to work productively and then leave school whether my work is finished or not. I am trusting that all will get done. I have been able to participate in some challenging meetings and parent conferences and have felt peaceful and faithful that all will be well.
Before I started Teach Uplifted, I knew I was passionate about teaching, but very disenchanted with and discouraged because of my particular school environment.
I was especially encouraged with the lessons on viewing trials and challenges as chariots bringing us onward toward God and His Kingdom. I also really value the practical tips on being efficient and systematic with work hours.
Because of Teach Uplifted, I'm working on reorganizing my time, which has helped me so much with the practical/work stress side of things. I only stay at school past 4 if there's a scheduled meeting! I even changed my school bag to be too small to lug home any textbooks, just in case I'm tempted to bring home more than I can handle in an evening. Ha! For more personal issues and challenges, I'm praying every day to trust that my current situation is by God's ordination. I love the quote you shared from Andrew Murray--"I am here by God's appointment, in His keeping, under His training, for His time."
Before I started this course I was completely fed up with teaching. I was tired and needed a break and I didn't know if this profession was where I belonged.
My biggest takeaway from this program is that no matter what God is in control and I need to surrender everything to him. My worries, my control, and my job need to be given to God and I need to learn to rely on Him. Everything is done for the good of His will.
Now, I am praying to God more and trying to retrain my mind to trust in Him and see my challenges as part of His plan for me.
We will go through the program together starting February 26 through April 8. After that you will still have access to all the content for your own reference & review.
After you join you'll immediately get access to the community & introductory materials so we can be ready to go come February 26.
Don't worry - after we go through the program together you'll still have access to all the content. This means you can go back to review or refresh whenever you need it.
Absolutely not. This program will take place mostly on a private website. We will have an optional Facebook community for further discussion, but it is absolutely not necessary.
You'll still be able to join a small group outside of Facebook, and you'll also be able to discuss and ask questions directly on each lesson.
The 6-week program has two major components: the audio lessons & devotional study.
The audio lessons for each week total around 30 minutes (give or take). Many like to listen during their commute or while doing other tasks like cleaning.
The devotional study will take about 10-20 minute each day, depending on how quickly you read. I recommend completing the Teach Uplifted devotional during your regular devotional time instead of trying to do it in addition to your regular Bible reading.
Note: You'll also want to plan about an hour to go through the introductory material & get everything set before the program starts.
It may be awhile before Teach Uplifted is offered again. You can stay on the mailing list & I'll let you know when it's open again, but in the meantime you're going to be stuck teaching frustrated & discouraged.
Here's the thing: We often imagine that we'll be less busy in the future. But research shows that we're normally mistaken.
We think we'll have more time later, but we get there and realize that we don't. And even the summer flies by way too quickly, and we realize we didn't have time for nearly what we thought we would.
If you're feeling discouraged and frustrated, I strongly encourage you to join now. If you can't keep up with the schedule, it's no problem. You can totally go at your own pace.
But you'll get great benefit right away if you just get started & begin implementing the things you learn.
If for any reason Teach Uplifted is not what you expected, just send me an email within 30 days, and I will give you a prompt refund.
While Teach Uplifted deals with many practical strategies that would benefit everyone, the main focus of the program is on trusting God and allowing Him to encourage and uplift us. If you're not a Christian and have no interest in having a relationship with God, then the majority of this program won't be relevant to you.
However, if this whole concept sounds intriguing or if you've been wondering what it would be like to be a Christian, I invite you to go ahead & join us and see for yourself what Christianity is all about. (And I'm happy to refund your money if you decide the program just isn't for you.)
Unshakeable is a fantastic book that I highly recommend. It is super practical, but since it's not written specifically for Christians it doesn't deal much with the spiritual aspect.
Teach Uplifted is specifically designed for Christian teachers. And while you will definitely learn practical strategies, we realize we must first strengthen our relationship with Christ because He is the only one that can truly give us the lasting peace and joy even in the midst of the most challenging circumstances.
Short answer - no. We'll be reading & discussing Hannah Whitall Smith's amazing little book The Christian's Secret of a Happy Life. Since this book is in the public domain, I'm able to include each day's reading for you online or via email.
If you'd prefer to read from a hard copy, you can pick up a paperback for just $6.00 on Amazon. (I'll include a link in the introduction to the program because there are two different versions & you'll want to get the one that matches our devotional study.)
Just send me an email & I'll be happy to answer them for you: firstname.lastname@example.org
